Philosophy of Education:
Christian education is about shaping hearts as much as it is about shaping minds and abilities. I believe my role at the Rock Academy is to use athletics as a platform to develop character, resilience, and a Christ-centered identity in our students. Competition reveals who we are, and I want our programs to point students back to integrity, humility, and dependence on Jesus in both victory and adversity. My hope is that every student leaves our program not just as a better athlete, but as a stronger leader, teammate, and follower of Christ.

Professional Experience:
4 years Assistant Athletic Director
6 years Collegiate Baseball Coach
Philosophy of Education:
Christian education opens up the opportunity for students to explore foundational years from a lens where they are building moral tools that will extend well beyond their formal schooling years. Students gain cognitive thinking skills that challenge world view and show them the powers of free thinking and what it means to have outstanding character. My role is one that I come to serve the students and faculty around me in my personal job description and what is called upon me outside of my job. The hope is students learn character, morals, and critical thinking skills in the classroom that allows them to solve problems dynamically.
