At camp at Indian Hills this October, I watched my 6th graders truly come together in ways I didn’t expect. In both small and big moments, they showed Christlike kindness—inviting others in, encouraging one another, and putting others first. During team challenges, worship, and even meal times, I saw genuine joy and connection growing among them. They bonded not just with each other but also with their teachers, laughing, sharing, and supporting one another. What started as an ordinary group became something special—a little picture of Christ’s love in action.
