Robin Carby

Elementary P.E. Teacher

Robin Carby has been teaching physical education for 14 years. She has been in the public school system both in San Diego Unified and Chula Vista Elementary School District. In CVESD she was the PE resource teacher where she oversaw 63 elementary schools and was the teacher lead for physical education professional developments. She has one year experience in high school.  Robin has a passion for teaching  kids the value and benefit of physical exercise by teaching skills that transfer into individual and team sports. Her goal is that every student understands the importance of exercise, finds a sport or exercise program they love, foster it and stay fit for life. She is currently coaching both rec, and advanced teams for the  Peninsula Youth Softball Association. Robin was born and raised in San Diego. She attended San Diego State University and played softball her senior year. She also has two years experience playing a professional sport for the San Diego Sunfire and the So Cal Scorpions football teams  in the WPFL. To stay active and healthy she loves hiking with her two daughters Avenly and Taylor and her husband Paul, who is also a PE teacher and coach. Robin is an avid surfer, when the water is warm, and loves all water sports. 

She plays pickle ball, softball, over  the line and loves to snowboard. She is also a professional photographer and owns her own business.
