Lauren Falconer

Advancement | Marketing | Community Relations

Understanding that God designed us to live in community, Lauren Falconer believes in building strong community around our children, guiding them with love and providing them an opportunity to be their best selves. In Christian Education, children are lead by teachers who love Jesus and their students; parents invest in the foundation of their children; and families journey together through life. This is why Lauren loves the Rock Academy, and seeks to share that Academy difference with potential families as well.

Before her current role as Director of Admissions, Lauren served as Spiritual Life Director, Student Life Director, and teacher of Bible, Leadership/ASB, History, and Science. Prior to the Rock, Lauren traveled as an AIDS/Poverty Educator and child sponsorship advocate for World Vision, speaking in churches, on college campuses, and at music festivals all over the world. She has founded and consulted for several small businesses, and was nominated for San Diego “mompreneur” of the year.

Derek and Lauren married in 2007 and together have two active little Warriors. She received her B.A. with Honors in History and a minor in Leadership from Chapman University. She also completed a thesis fellowship on Church history in Rome, and select courses at Bethel Seminary in San Diego.
