Geneva Urquhart

English | Creative Writing | US History

Ms. Urquhart is originally from Cranston Rhode Island and moved to beautiful San Diego because she got tired of the cold weather. She has three adult children and three grandchildren. She is an ordained minister with a strong faith foundation and continues to grow in a firm relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. She holds a Masters in Divinity from Palmer Seminary in Pennsylvania; a Master’s degree in Secondary English Education from the University of Rhode Island. She is also a pilot! Her advice
to her students is “to put God as first place in your life. Start each day in prayer. Have a set place in your house where you and the Lord meet. Have a set time for your Daily Devotion with your Bible and journal. Lastly, Dust Off Your Dreams. Acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses and seek to improve. It is up to you to define and refine
yourself because you are uniquely and wonderfully created to do awesome things in
your life!” Ms. Urquhart is a rockstar educator who brings a wealth of knowledge and
experience to our team. She will teach English, Creative Writing, and US History.
