Ann O’Neill

MS/HS English

Mrs. O’Neill was born and raised in the great state of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) where she earned her degree in education at Augusta State University. While in college, Mrs. O’Neill also studied musical theatre and performed in several college and community productions. After graduation, she taught in the public school system for four years before moving out to sunny California with her husband and children.  Mrs. O’Neill has spent the last sixteen years in Bakersfield teaching at two amazing schools.  She recently comes from Bakersfield Christian High School where she taught Freshman Honors English and high school drama.  As the theatre director, she directed eight mainstage productions over the course of four years.  While it is true that English and the Performing Arts are Mrs. O’Neill’s passions, nothing compares to her fervor and joy towards guiding students into a deeper understanding of how great the Father’s love is for them. There is no greater honor than to build leaders for the Kingdom of God by aiding them in becoming deep thinkers, dynamic communicators, and “do something” Christians. Mrs. O’Neill is thrilled to be bringing her beautiful daughter, Emma (7th grade), to The Rock Academy this year.  They both are delighted to join the Warrior family.
