Planned Giving & Non-Cash Gifts

Most people consider monetary gifts their only giving option. However, there are many planned giving options and types of non-cash gifts that can bring substantial benefits to the Rock Academy, as well as a potential tax deduction to the donor.*

• Bequests

Types of Non-Cash Gifts
• Appreciated Securities
• Life Insurance Policies
• Vacant undeveloped land
• Vacation home, cabin or other real estate

Benefits
In general, donating a non-cash gift in which the asset has increased in value, can result in a larger tax deduction than giving the same amount in cash. Planned giving can increase current income to the donor, reduce the donor’s income, and avoid capital gains tax while offering a significant donation to the Academy. In turn your gift will advance the Academy’s mission of training qualified Christian leaders for tomorrow.
