Something to Celebrate!

The Rock Academy is coming up on its ten year anniversary and we are beyond blessed to look back and see how God has provided through the years! In September, 2002, the Rock Academy opened its doors to 38 K – 6th grade students with a stand alone Kindergarten class, and combination classes for 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, and 5th/6th.  By the end of the academic year, 2003, the Academy had grown to 50 students and one additional support staff, while the preschool gained another 44 youngsters.  In September, 2003, the Rock Academy opened the 7th and 8th grades as the school continued to expand in students and staff. In 2007 we moved to our permanent building in Point Loma and opened the doors to our high school.

In 2002, we began with a faculty and staff of 11 and now are blessed to have 52!  This year we have 320 students enrolled in grades K – 12th and 107 enrolled in our preschool program.

Looking back over the past ten years we have watched God’ s hand guide and lead our faculty, staff, and students and look forward to seeing God’s plans for our school in the years to come. He has shown His faithfulness from our humble beginnings and we know that He will continue to lead us in the direction He wills the school to go.
