Seniors in the Spotlight

Rock Academy seniors, Kimberly Miller and Max Hooper charge ahead to the finish. Both seniors have placed in the top of their class and rank among the nation's most intelligent teenagers.

Max Hooper
Max Hooper took the ACT and scored 34 out of 36, putting him in the 99 percentile. In addition, he maintains a 3.7 gpa and plays on the Academy's baseball and football teams. He was the baseball team's MVP last season. Hooper's ACT score along with his GPA and advanced placement courses give him eligibility for admission to top universities like Stanford or Ivy League Schools.

Kimberly Miller
Kimberly Miller
Kimberly Miller has been identified by the University of California as an E.L.C. student (Eligible in the Local Context). Her 4.1 GPA and completion of Advanced Placement courses and rank in the top 4 percent of her high school class makes her eligible for early admission into the University of California.

Hooper has attended the Rock Academy since the 7th grade and attributes his success to the small class sizes and family-like atmosphere. Both students plan to apply to Point Loma Nazarene University, Biola University, and several UC's.
