These classes are open to any Jr/Sr High Student that would like to learn more about photography and how to use their camera more effectively. The student must bring their own camera to the class, one will not be provided. These classes are limited to 20 students. If your student is not available for both dates they may attend just one.
September 17th: “How To Use Your Camera” – Tour of Little ItalyThe students will be focusing on becoming more familiar with their camera, ISO, aperture, depth of field, lighting, flash fill, creative control, and basic techniques.
Cost - $10 for the Class; $5 for the Trolley; $5-10 for Lunch (or bring bagged)
October 1st: “Post-Production Techniques To Make Your Pictures Pop”We will start by getting the students photos downloaded onto the school computers and then start working on the post production of the photos. We will be working on composition, framing, digital enhancements, and abstract digital rendering.
Cost - $10 for the Class; $5 for Pizza Lunch (or bring bagged)
The students will each be submitting their best photograph to be printed and displayed at The Rock Academy, and will potentially be entered into the San Diego County Fair next year.
