The Rock Academy has some outstanding students. Here are just a few of our most recent Standouts.

Laura Plumb

Laura Plumb

Laura Plumb, an 8th grade student at the Rock Academy, represented the school at an Association of Christian Schools International Spelling Bee on January 28, 2005. Laura came in 1st place for her grade and 2nd place overall.

Jacob Guevara

Jacob Guevara

Jacob Guevara, an 8th grade student at the Rock Academy, won 2nd Place in his division at the Las Vegas World Archery Festival 2005. He broke his personal best score. He scored 286 out of possible 300 on the first day and 284 on the second day.

Max Hooper

Max Hooper

Max Hooper, a 7th grade student at the Rock Academy, represented the school at an Association of Christian Schools International Math Olympics on March 18, 2005. Max came in 1st place and also received a special ribbon for scoring higher than 85% on the test.

Matt Morris

Matt Morris

The San Diego Friendship Exchange sent five sailors from Southern California to attend the St. Valentine's Regatta at St. Petersburg Yacht Club in Florida. A total of 144 Optimist sailors from all over the United States and Canada competed. The Southern California sailors represented themselves very well in Silver Fleet. One of the sailors is a 5th grade student at the Rock Academy, Matt Morris. Matt astounded the Optimist sailors with a 6th place victory overall and a 4th place ranking in his age division.
