Something to Celebrate!
The Rock Academy is commemorating its ten year anniversary in style! We invite your entire family to join us and celebrate with other past and present Academy families. We will have fun for everyone with tasty desserts, gourmet coffees, jump houses, a photo booth, tons of raffle prizes, and a special message from Dr. Andujo and Pastor Miles. The 10th Anniversary Celebration will be from 6-8pm on Saturday, April 14th here at the Rock Church and Academy. We look forward to celebrating the Lord's blessings on our school with you!

NO SCHOOL - Easter Break!
There is no school Monday, April 2—Monday, April 9, 2012. We will return to school on Tuesday, April 10th. The Rock Academy office will be closed during Easter Break.

The Jungle Book Spring Musical
The Rock Academy Jr./Sr. High Performing Arts Department is excited to present The Jungle Book. Performance dates are Thursday, April 26 at both 1:00pm and 6:30pm and Friday, April 27 at 6:30pm in the Rock Sanctuary. Admission is free! Contact the Rock Academy office at 619-764-5200 for more information!
DONATIONS NEEDED!
Concessions will be sold before both night performances and during intermission. We are in need of sweets, snacks and drinks. Please bring any donations by the office no later than the morning of April 26th.
There will also be a raffle basket. If you would like to provide any small items or gift cards to be included in the basket please email victoria.mora@therockacademy.org.

Daisy Troop #4030
Daisy Troop #4030 started this school year, and is the only Girl Scout Troop at The Rock Academy. Although most people know Girl Scouts for their cookies, this is only a small part of being a Girl Scout. **IMPORTANT**
Current 6th Grade Immunization Updates
To help protect your children and others from whooping cough, a new California law now requires students to be vaccinated against whooping cough.
For the 2012-13 school year, all students entering 7th grade will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster shot (Tdap) before starting school.
Proof of immunization must be brought into the school office before the start of the 2012-2013 school year or your child will not be permitted to attend school.

Informational Tours

Please encourage your child to check the Lost & Found in the Nurse's Station across from the Rock Academy office on the 2nd floor weekly for any items that have been misplaced. The bin is currently overflowing! The Lost & Found is laid out in the hallway every Wednesday. Any unclaimed school uniforms will be placed in the Uniform Exchange; everything else will be thrown away or donated to the Salvation Army.
