Enroll now for the 2012 – 2013 school year!!

The Rock Academy has opened enrollment for returning students for the 2012 – 2013 school year. Returning students who enroll before Wednesday, February 29, 2012, will receive a discount on their registration fee. An enrollment packet was mailed home to current students in December. Please contact the Rock Academy if you did not receive your packet.

	Kindergarten Information Night Monday, January 9, 2012 6:00 PM Room 254 on the 2nd floor This is a wonderful opportunity for pre-k parents to get more information on our kindergarten program for the 2012-2013 school year. 	NO SCHOOL - Martin Luther King Jr. Day The Rock Academy will be closed Monday, January 16 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will return to school on Tuesday, January 17.

	JR/SR High Shadow Day On Friday, March 23, we are hosting a Shadow Day. This is an opportunity for prospective 7th—12th grade students who are interested in checking out the Academy to spend a day with us. For more details»
	Informational Tours The Rock Academy will be hosting an informational tour on Monday, January 9, 2012, at 4:00 P.M. in Room 254. If you know of any families that are interested in finding out more information about the Rock Academy, please invite them to attend. RSVPs are not required. For more tour dates»
	January Gift Card Orders! Do you want to help raise money for the Rock Academy while shopping at all of your favorite restaurants but NOT spend an extra penny or have to go out and sell candy bars, etc.? If your answer is yes, then you... For more details»
	Lost & Found Please encourage your child to check the Lost & Found in the hallway outside the Rock Academy office on the 2nd floor weekly for any items that have been misplaced. The bin is currently overflowing! The Lost & Found is emptied every Friday. Any unclaimed school uniforms will be placed in the Uniform Exchange; everything else will be thrown away or donated to the Salvation Army.
	Uniform Exchange Feel free to come by the Academy office to check our Uniform Exchange. You can swap gently used uniforms your child has outgrown with other parents or pick out used items for a suggested donation of $5 per item.
	Rock Academy Praying Parents (RAPP) The Rock Academy Praying Parents (RAPP) is the prayer ministry for the Rock Academy that takes place Mondays from 7:30 A.M. - 8:30 A.M. in the Community Room off of the church lobby. We would like to invite all parents, guardians, grandparents and all loved ones to meet for one... For more details»
	SHINE Women of the Rock Academy… SHINE (a women’s morning bible study) will be starting up again on Thursday, September 8th. We will meet in room 232, from 9:30 -11:30 am. We will be studying "The Beautiful Disciplined Woman". No book to buy, just bring your bible and a pen. Childcare is available. Please join us and feel free to bring a friend!
