Kindergarten through 6th grade parents, please join us on Friday, December 16, from 8:30am to 11:30am for Family Day. Please plan on joining your child(ren) in class for this fun morning!

Please be advised that After School Care will NOT be offered on Friday, December 16, since it is Family Day and school will be dismissed at 11:30am.

Each year our families ask for a list of faculty and staff favorite things for the Holiday season. Please see the attached PDF for this list.

The Rock Academy will be hosting an informational tour on Monday, December 12, 2011, at 4:00 P.M. in Room 254.
If you know of any families that are interested in finding out more information about the Rock Academy, please invite them to attend. RSVPs are not required.

We would like to thank our 2nd Annual Rock Academy Jog-a-thon sponsors for making our event a huge success! On November 30th, 2011 the entire student body dressed up in different class themes and collectively ran thousands of laps on our track in Liberty Station Park. The fun event included some lively tunes, raffle prizes, and class competitions. The students had a blast "Rockin' and Runnin' " to raise funds for our school.

Wow, November is over and December is upon us. The team did a ton of great outreach events in November. Chad Doran set up a Robotics Demonstration and Fun Day at the San Diego Ronald McDonald House which was AWESOME! There were lots of kids there that enjoyed driving the team robot, trying to score points, and drawing pictures of their dream robot. Please encourage your child to check the Lost & Found in the hallway outside the Rock Academy office on the 2nd floor weekly for any items that have been misplaced. The bin is currently overflowing! The Lost & Found is emptied every Friday. Any unclaimed school uniforms will be placed in the Uniform Exchange; everything else will be thrown away or donated to the Salvation Army.

Feel free to come by the Academy office to check our Uniform Exchange. You can swap gently used uniforms your child has outgrown with other parents or pick out used items for a suggested donation of $5 per item.

The Rock Academy Praying Parents (RAPP) is the prayer ministry for the Rock Academy that takes place Mondays from 7:30 A.M. - 8:30 A.M. in the Community Room off of the church lobby. We would like to invite all parents, guardians, grandparents and all loved ones to meet for one...

Women of the Rock Academy…

SHINE (a women’s morning bible study) will be starting up again on Thursday, September 8th. We will meet in room 232, from 9:30 -11:30 am. We will be studying "The Beautiful Disciplined Woman". No book to buy, just bring your bible and a pen. Childcare is available.
