Homecoming 2011
On Friday, October 21st, The Rock Academy will clash with Tri-City Christian High School for a competitive Coastal Pacific League matchup. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm at El Cajon Valley High School. This is our Homecoming Game and we are celebrating 10 years of Christian Education!

"CHANGE THE WORLD"
Bank Drive
We are very excited about kicking off our annual Coin Bank Fundraiser once again. In early October, your child will be sent home with a coin bank to fill with spare change from friends and family. We do hope that your child can put some of his/her own coins in the bank to see the value of giving. We will recollect these banks in a few months and use the funds to continue prepare our students to "change the world!"

Robotics
The second season of the Rock Warriors Robotics Team has started off. The challenge this year is called "Bowled Over" and looks to be very challenging and exciting. Photography Mini-Camp Results

Please encourage your child to check the Lost & Found in the hallway outside the Rock Academy office on the 2nd floor weekly for any items that have been misplaced. The bin is currently overflowing! The Lost & Found is emptied every Friday. Any unclaimed school uniforms will be placed in the Uniform Exchange; everything else will be thrown away or donated to the Salvation Army.

Feel free to come by the Academy office to check our Uniform Exchange. You can swap gently used uniforms your child has outgrown with other parents or pick out used items for a suggested donation of $5 per item.

Rock Academy Praying Parents
(RAPP)
The Rock Academy Praying Parents (RAPP) is the prayer ministry for the Rock Academy. There are two opportunities to get involved. The first takes place Mondays from 7:30 am - 8:30 am beginning August 15th. The second takes place Mondays from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm beginning August 29th. Both meet in the Community Room off of the church lobby. We would like to invite all parents, guardians, grandparents and all loved ones to meet for one...

Women of the Rock Academy…
SHINE (a women’s morning bible study) will be starting up again on Thursday, September 8th. We will meet in room 232, from 9:30 -11:30 am. We will be studying "The Beautiful Disciplined Woman". No book to buy, just bring your bible and a pen. Childcare is available.
