Stacy Ford
Jr. High Spanish Teacher
BA in Communications and a minor in Spanish from San Diego State University in San Diego, California
Stacy was raised in a Christian home in Temecula, California, where she accepted Christ into her heart at a very young age. With age and maturity Stacy's relationship with her Lord and Savior grew and guided her through high school and into college where she attended San Diego State University. In college Stacy discovered her passion to not only serve the Lord but also serve him through the study of Spanish. Stacy spent time abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and Spain, Madrid, where she gained a love and understanding for the Spanish language and culture. She quickly decided that she wanted to use this love and passion to serve God as a teacher.
After college Stacy spent the past year teaching Spanish and dance, and directing ASB at a Christian school in Temecula. She believes that God has called her back to San Diego to use her gifts and love for teaching to educate students at the Rock Academy. Stacy is very excited to be back in beautiful San Diego and can hardly wait to be a part of the Rock family.
Stacy loves to spend time with friends and family, and she greatly values community in her life. She is very active and enjoys running and biking along the beach. Stacy feels closest to God when she is near the ocean and therefore knows this is exactly where she is supposed to be!
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
