Richard Andujo

Richard Andujo was born in Juarez, Mexico and immigrated to the United States after completing first grade. His father told him that in the United States all things were possible so long as one took advantage of the many educational opportunities available. With that hope, and a wonderful wife to encourage him along the way, he pursued higher education via enrollment at San Diego State University. In 1989, Richard was honored as Cum Laude-with Distinction in Social Science while securing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a minor in Spanish.

The following year, he completed his Master of Arts in Political Science, and ultimately earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration from Pensacola Christian College in 1999. After short stints teaching at Southwestern College and SDSU, he was hired to teach in a Christian school where he taught for a brief period before being appointed to the position of administrator. He served as an administrator for a local private school for nine years before joining the pastoral team at the Rock Church. A few years later he was appointed Principal at the Rock Academy in April of 2002.

Richard was raised in a Catholic family and feared God all through high school. After graduation, he came to the realization that he needed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He now enjoys the peace, love, and fulfillment which come through knowing Jesus Christ. He considers it an honor to serve the Lord, Pastor Miles, and the wonderful families attending this outstanding school. He resides in Eastlake with his wife and their five children.
