Mrs. Lori grew up in Ohio and ventured out on her own at nineteen. After traveling for 2 years, she settled in sunny San Diego. Mrs. Lori worked in the service industry, in food service, catering, and as a tour guide. Then, after attending college, she started her career in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Lori believes that it is a gift to be teaching the little ones. She especially loves to see their faces when she shares all the wonders of Jesus.
Lori tried many San Diego churches and responded to three alter calls before truly committing her heart to Jesus. Her moment of salvation was during the children’s naptime at the preschool, while reading “The Hour That Changes the World” by Dick Eastman. Since that day, her desire to please the Lord has not wavered. She continues to grow in her walk by studying the Word and being active in the Rock ministry.
She cherishes the support of her ever-so-patient husband, Jack, who has been teaching high school since 1972. Together they have a beautiful teenage daughter, Dayna, and three wonderful sons, Jeff, Brian, and Ryan.
Mrs. Lori believes that her family and being part of the Rock family have been some of the best gifts from God.
