Lauren Lozano

Lauren was born and raised in San Diego where she learned a lot about leadership by being the eldest of four daughters. At the age of four, Lauren asked Jesus to come into her heart and change her life. She has fond memories of attending church together with her mother at a young age; and soon after, her entire family was attending as well. In sixth grade, Lauren’s family moved to Orange County where she was introduced to her future husband in a sixth grade Sunday School class. It was in Orange County that God continued to grow her, as almost every new friend she made knew the Lord.

After high school, Lauren had a desire to grow more in her knowledge of the Lord and to be stretched academically. Therefore, she decided to attend Point Loma Nazarene University, and soon after her arrival at Point Loma, she became great friends with her future husband, Dustin. It was through him that the Lord challenged her to grow spiritually. They began attending Bible studies every night as their thirst for the Lord and His Word grew deeper. During college, Lauren also had the pleasure of interning in Miss Ours’ second grade class here at The Rock Academy; and this stirred up a love in her heart for the school.

Lauren and her husband were married after graduation and decided to remain in San Diego. Together they enjoy leading the college ministry at their church. Lauren also enjoys teaching a women’s Bible study and planning events for the college students. After teaching second grade for two years at a local Christian school, she felt God was calling her to join the administrative team at the Rock Academy.

She is grateful for the peace and joy Jesus Christ brings to her life. She knows her life is overflowing because of Him. Lauren loves to study His Word, and it brings her a deep satisfaction to see others doing this as well.
