Dana was born in San Clemente and raised in San Juan Capistrano, California. Her childhood was blessed by joyful outings to the beach with her family and friends. She was also very involved with sports all of her life. Her favorite sport is still soccer, and Dana has traveled all over California playing in tournaments, in addition to the Bahamas and Hawaii.

As a child Dana grew up knowing of God, but did not know WHO He was or that she needed a personal relationship with Him. During her teen years God began tugging at her heart to know Him on a personal level. Responding to this stirring by God, she began attending church on a regular basis. As she continued her journey, the NEED grew stronger to KNOW God more. Since she could not drive yet, finding a ride to church was often difficult. However, she would ask anyone who was willing, to take her. Sometimes she would even ride her bike; anything necessary, just to get to church. Pretty soon the Holy Spirit began to convict her heart that she needed Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. At youth group one night she felt God’s call on her at, and she offered her life to Him. She was baptized in the ocean not long after that and dedicated her life to the Lord. A burden was lifted, and Dana know that our GREAT and POWERFUL God was on her side. She knew God was the only one who could give her the ACCEPTANCE and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE that everyone searches for in life.
Dana has a passion for Spanish and loves sharing that passion with others. She loves to show her students that learning Spanish is not always about the verbs and vocabulary words, but about experiencing another culture. For the past three years she has been teaching and sharing Spanish. She feels so blessed that God has chosen her to teach what she loves; and, in turn, she strives to serve Him with the gift He has given her.
You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
