Masters Degree in Education, specializing in Cross Cultural Teaching; Bachelors Degree of Arts, Interdisciplinary Studies from National University; California Multiple Subject CLAD Teaching Credential; RICA Certified by the state of California
Britnie was born and raised in a Christian home in San Diego. She accepted Jesus into her heart at a very young age and attended church regularly with her parents and younger brother. She was very involved in her church youth groups, went on several short mission trips, and taught Sunday school. She loved the Lord, but it was not until after high school that she really learned the meaning of surrendering her whole life to Him and allowing Him to direct and guide her. She learned the importance of daily surrender and devotional time and experienced His love on a much more intimate level.

Britnie knew at a very young age that she wanted to be a teacher and truly believes this is God’s plan for her. She got her Bachelors and Masters Degrees through National University and continued on to get her teaching credential. She student-taught third grade in the Cajon Valley School District and Kindergarten in the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District. She has spent the past four years teaching kindergarten and first grade in the public school system and is looking forward to being able to combine her two passions; her love for the Lord and for teaching. She is excited about the opportunity to share her faith with her students. She believes that by being allowed to integrate the Bible and prayer along with the academic curriculum her students will have a more balanced education; one that will strengthen and encourage them to grow in the Lord and allow them to find joy in His promises for them.

Britnie and her husband are extremely excited about the doors that God has opened in allowing her to become a part of the Rock Academy Staff and look forward to what God has planned for her and her students.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him, to those who were called according to His purpose.
