The Purpose

The purpose of fine and performing arts at the Rock Academy is fourfold:

1. Educate students in the beauty, creativity and benefits of both fine and performing arts
2. Build school focus, unity and identity
3. Engage students in school through various artistic endeavors and their support programs
4. Use the arts as a platform to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ

Productions and Competitions

Some of the productions at the Rock Academy include the productions of "Angels Aware" by our K - 4th grade students, and "Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat" by our 5th - 8th grade students.

While all students currently enjoy fine art instruction in K-8th grade, select students having artistic gifts and aptitudes have competed in both the ACSI Speech and Fine Arts regional competitions.
